Today is my 2 year vaccine anniversary.
I spent the day visiting my grandma and then to a local small car show with my dad and sister in aid of Father’s Day. It’s been lovely but I guess I’ve still felt a little morose.
It honestly feels longer than two years I’ve been in this era of semi existence. Time drags when you have so much spare and yet so little of it being up to doing anything. And then I think just how many treatments and medications combinations I’ve tried in these two years and realise I have done a fair old amount.
And it’s not been all bad. I’ve got to do some things which will stay with me forever, in a good way. I’ve made some beautiful memories and I’ve survived. I guess I couldn’t hope for more in my current situation.
I’ve been surrounded by unbelievable amounts of love and support in these years too. It’s unfair where I am and what’s happen but I am so so lucky to have those around me and every single person who’s shared a kind word in this time.
Today I’m grateful that we had plans and I got to do something positive. Nothing like a car show to give a big old middle finger to this anniversary. Of course I’m suffering for it but I’m so glad to have given this day a positive memory with family 🤍
